The average salary for each industry differs greatly across Australia, with factors such experience and geography playing a significant role in determining an amount.
But these factors aside, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics the full-time average adult salary as of November 2017 was $84,661.
For women, the average weekly total earnings was $1,427 while for men, it was $1,748.80.

Those with 10 to 20 years of experience can expect to earn an average total compensation of $97,000.
According to Indeed, teachers in New South Wales earn more on average, with 969 salaries entered averaging $88,207 per year.

The average salary for air traffic controllers as of February, 2018, sits at $118,535.
Although the entry level salary sits at an average of $59,000, experience will lead to a significant rise, especially for those with more than four years in the industry.
The average salary for window cleaners in Australia is $59,056.

Clinical psychologists earn the most, followed by crisis counsellors, mental health counsellors and school counsellors.

Lollipop men and women are earning THOUSANDS
‘Lollipop lady’ Amy Dowsett is raking in the handsome salary or $130,000, roughly double that of a nurse’s annual income, thanks to the construction boom and the industry’s union.
The Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union member earns over $40 an hour and also receives a $45 per day travel allowance and a $22 meal allowance.
